Brianna is a Nashville native, who joins TNFP after years of grants management experience with the State of Tennessee. As an adolescent, her father ran a community-based organization with a food truck. On early weekend mornings, she would ride with him to pass out food to the unhoused community. She saw first-hand the impacts of a warm meal, and how breaking bread could break down barriers. This passion continued in her academic career, where her research centered on food insecurity in Nashville, and the importance of engaging underserved populations in public policy decisions and community planning efforts. Brianna is thrilled to return to work so close to her heart. She is excited to work with TNFP to create a more just and sustainable food system.
Outside of work, Brianna enjoys a variety of active and creative hobbies like hiking, yoga, reading, learning ukulele, and dancing with her husband and child.
