Josh grew up moving all across the country but after finally settling in high school, now considers Rhode Island home. In-between moves he spent his childhood cooking alongside his mom and Oma. Some of his earliest memories are of baking pies at Christmas and making pizzas as a family on Friday nights. Through these early moments of cooking with family and friends he quickly gained an appreciation for food and its ability to bring others together.
After graduating with a degree in International Politics from Belmont University he decided to follow his passions and began working in the food industry. He quickly gained experience in French cuisine working in East Nashville’s Once Upon a Time in France before moving on to catering and meal planning. Josh’s love of serving others has also led him to work with several nonprofits in the Nashville area, allowing him to gain valuable experience in nonprofit management. This love of food and serving his community combines to make The Nashville Food Project the perfect place for Josh to call home.
When he’s not in the kitchen Josh likes to spend his time brewing homemade beer, playing Nintendo Switch, and exploring Nashville’s ever changing restaurant scene.
