Originally from Akron, OH, David has called Nashville home since 2008. After working in area restaurants for the past several years, he began volunteering with local farms and decided to pursue a path more closely aligned with his values, which led him to The Nashville Food Project. Battling hunger, eliminating waste, and striving for greater sustainability are all causes close to his heart. David currently lives in West Nashville with his wife and 2 dogs and when not running around town trying to secure food donations for us, he enjoys hiking, foraging, fermenting & preserving his own food, and collecting more rare/high-end tea than he can possibly drink.
