we bring people together over nourishing food.
40% of all food in the United States is wasted, while 1 in 8 people in Nashville don’t know where their next meal will come from. We aim to change that through powerful community collaboration.
Our Work
The Nashville Food Project was born from the idea that all people should have access to the food they want and need. We use vibrant urban agriculture projects, community meals initiatives and a food recovery model to connect quality food with people in our community.
